Buying from outside Canada and the US
Wherever you are, this is the same pattern.
One English pattern in three sizes, constructed in inches, with the finished sizes and the fabric quantities given in metric as well. We have not translated it and we do not pretend to have.
Can I buy this pattern outside Canada or the US?
Yes. The pattern is a digital download and can be bought anywhere the selling platform supports digital delivery. Nothing is shipped.
What language is the pattern?
Pattern instructions are in English. Every instruction, diagram label and cutting list is in English, and we would rather say so plainly than have you find out after buying.
Are the instructions in metric?
Construction is written in inches. The finished sizes are given in both — Baby 36" × 48" (91.4 x 121.9 cm) · Crib 36" × 54" (91.4 x 137.2 cm) · Twin 75" × 96" (190.5 x 243.8 cm) — and fabric quantities are given in yards and metres. This pattern is constructed in inches. Metric dimensions are provided for finished-size and fabric-shopping reference. For best results, use one measurement system consistently throughout construction.
How much fabric do I buy in metres?
The table below. It is not a conversion of the yardage: it is the same cutting plan measured in metres and rounded up to the next 10 cm. It assumes at least 101.6 cm of usable width, which is the same assumption the yardage makes. A narrower bolt needs more than this says.
Can I print it on A4?
Yes, at 100%. The pages are laid out for US Letter, and A4 is a little narrower — printing at full size and centred loses about 3 mm from each side, which is blank margin on every page. Nothing in this pattern has to print to scale: there are no templates to trace, only measurements to cut to. So there is no test square to check and no reason to use "fit to page".
Will I see my local currency?
Where the selling platform supports it, prices may be shown in your local currency. That is the platform's behaviour, not ours, and we would rather not promise something we do not control.

Every figure assumes at least 101.6 cm of USABLE width, the same assumption the yardage makes. Metric bolts are commonly wider than that and are fine. A narrower bolt needs more fabric than this table says, and the table cannot know which one a buyer is standing in front of.
