Checked against all 14 fabric pairs weighted by how much seam length each actually shares in this quilt. 14.4% of the seam length falls below 1.25 contrast. The largest single loss is the sage ground against the brick at 1.16, on 8.8% of seams. Five of the six colours sit within twelve points of lightness of each other, so the quilt reads tonal: the piecing is felt more than seen. Chosen knowingly.
