The first 5 makers
Lineage is currently in Beta and has not yet completed a full independent third-party sew-through. You may encounter a clarification, correction or instruction improvement as the pattern is tested in real-world use.
If a material pattern issue prevents you from completing Lineage, contact us and we will make it right.

Fabric is yours. This is a digital download, and nothing physical is shipped.
Tell us what happened when you made it — where the cutting was unclear, where you stopped and reread, what was missing, and what you would change. The questions are short and they come after your purchase: read them now.
Your feedback is genuinely important while Lineage is in Beta. Please send us anything you find — good, bad or confusing. If you choose to share your experience through an Etsy review, we appreciate honest feedback from our first makers.
01
Cutting
Was anything unclear? Did any quantity appear incorrect?
02
Construction
Was there a point where you stopped and reread? Did any diagram or instruction feel confusing?
03
Usability
Was anything missing? What would have made the pattern easier?
04
Outcome
Did the quilt assemble correctly? What skill level do you think Lineage suits? Would you recommend the pattern? Any other feedback?
We read every application ourselves, and reply either way.
Applying does not buy the pattern. If a correction is identified during Beta, the pattern is updated and the corrected version goes to every Founding QLT Maker at no additional charge.
75" × 96" for the Twin, in both directions, with nothing adjusted to make it fit. The other sizes are composed from the same rows by the same engine.
Counted from her own written totals and again from the composed layout, which share no arithmetic, and the two agree.
7200 square inches of pieces in a quilt of the same area, with no gap and no overlap.
6675 of 7200 square inches checked cell by cell (92.7%). Her drawing stops before the bottom of the quilt, so 525 square inches are not covered by this check at all.
Partial coverage, published rather than rounded up.
These are checks on the reconstruction. Nobody has yet sewn this quilt from the finished customer pattern, and this site does not claim otherwise.
